Dosage & Indications Adults: Initially, 5 mg/kg through infusion over a 20-120 minute period; may repeat infusion up to 1,200 mg (about 15 mg/kg) per 24 hours, with the rate of infusion modified according to clinical response. 150-300 mg by slow inj over 3 minutes in emergency circumstances; may be repeated at least 15 minutes after the first dosage.
