They're really simple to install on the wall and provide an incentive to glance up from your washing and dryer. After the shelves are secured to the wall, it's time to style them. I propose that you choose a color palette or theme (coastal, black-and-white, industrial) and stick with it throughout the styling of your vignettes. This is a fairly basic casual living room that incorporates traditional furniture pieces with more contemporary finishes and colors. The walls are completed with a unique wallpaper that simulates unpolished concrete, creating a slight texture on the walls. The furniture collection includes a dark brown velvet-upholstered couch, light beige armchairs, and a pair of linen-upholstered fauteuil armchairs. A modest metal coffee table with black-painted metal legs anchors the room, while a wide light beige area rug surrounds it with a muted wavy lines design. This is a modest casual living room that places an emphasis on the space's architectural details and hence utilizes minimal contemporary furniture. The space's walls are entirely white, emphasizing the solid wood ceiling planks and trusses, as well as the brick-clad fireplace. Due to the prominence of the brick and wood in this design, the media cabinet is kept basic and contemporary in white and wengue laminates, while the L-shaped couch is covered in a very light beige tone.
Say goodbye to harsh white kitchens; color is unavoidably making a comeback (again). And not just one color; rather, we've seen a significant trend toward painting kitchen cabinets in two distinct colors. We are aware of bizarre events. A common variation on the design is to use a darker color for the bottom cabinets and a lighter hue for the shelves and upper cabinets. Consider creamy, neutral cabinets for the upper cabinets and a darker, more dramatic color for the bottom cabinets. And if a bright paint color isn't exactly your style, you can get the same effect using contrasting materials. What we love about this concept is that it can be applied to almost any type of kitchen, from ultramodern to Shaker.
