Thanos annihilated half of the population with his devastating snap in Avengers: Infinity War. Even some of our superheroes, like Spider-Man, dissolved after Thanos' snap; hence, in Avengers: Endgame, the surviving superheroes will use time travel to attempt to resurrect the fallen heroes. With the release of Endgame, the time for avoiding details is rapidly narrowing. It's a window supported by what Vox's Todd VanDerWerff called as a fiercely held, even paranoid sense of what makes an enjoyable watching experience: The worst aspect of spoiler phobia, in my opinion, is that it prioritizes story above everything else. And while I do not believe that is a bad way to consume media, when it becomes the guiding philosophy of not only those who consume it but also those who think critically about it or even those who create it, you end up with something like the production of Endgame, in which Brie Larson has no idea what she is doing or who she is speaking to.
Avengers: Endgame broke box office records Wednesday, grossing more than $60 million.
And while the internet is having a collective meltdown about Endgame, weâre simply trying to get through the work week in order to sneak into a cinema for a sneak look. Needless to say, we are quite averse to spoilers. This caused us to overlook a quite fantastic Easter egg created by the people at Google.
