Formula The NRL has a runnier mix than the Sheer Glow but thicker than the ADLW. It's a really lightweight product that blends very beautifully with the skin. I always test new foundations with my preferred foundation brush (slanted, flat top kabuki); it blended in nicely but was not as smooth or seamless as previous foundations; it required a teeny bit more effort. The second time, I used a moist sponge and discovered that it not only blended in better than the brush, but also looked better on the skin. However, it did not mix as seamlessly as other foundations I've tried. Although the sponge absorbed a bit additional product, I needed to apply more, the brush application did not settle as beautifully on the face and seemed a little more cakey than the sponge application.

I would have given it more stars, but I utilized the Nars website's technique (taking a picture in strong natural light) to determine my skin tone and choose the correct shade. I purchased the one it recommended, but it was much too dark. However, it continues to be gorgeous and remains there.
