'Cheetah Plains' is the safari park's newest exhibit. Two cheetah were released into their own exhibit at the start of the 2008 season. In August, they were joined by another six cheetah ranging in age from seven to fifteen months, increasing the total number of cheetah at the park to eight. Reserves for Animals
We arrived at 10:00 a.m., the park's opening hour. Immediately, an employee approached our vehicle, greeted us kindly, and gave us the opportunity to buy a handbook. There were already quite a few vehicles parked, but we arrived at the gate within ten minutes. We were given a map of the park and the opportunity to buy animal food, which we jumped upon! We visited the park's first section, the âAfrican Plains,â and were immediately allowed to utilize our animal food. We were able to open our windows and provide food to the animals, and they came and ate from our hands! My elder son really enjoyed the trip, but my little twins also enjoyed seeing the animals up close.
